Many companies don’t use ridge vents because of cost, and when they do they elect to use the cheapest vents on the market. It’s a trade off Pro Roofing is willing to make. Pro Roofing chooses quality even if it raises the cost of the roof. Ridge vents are flat out better! We use externally baffled vents which are the only vents that create suction. The baffle forces air from the attic to fill the void caused by air passing over the vent. The air enters into the soffits, fills the attic cavity and exits out the ridge vent at the highest point of the roof. The roof is then topped off with a High Profile Ridge Cap.
